Large Ray named them
Ray had a friend who came into work one Monday, after Lollapalooza '93 Philly, wearing a little stone on a string around his neck. "What's that? It looks like a shrimp rock."
"I got it at the festival this weekend."
"Whatever, Shrimp Rock. Hey, Larry - Shrimp Rock's gonna do that delivery for me this afternoon. Get your keys, Shrimp Rock."
Their Training and Education
They absorbed the Dorkin' in York series
The Shrimp Rocks absorbed the history of The Stoke through Dorkin' 1 through 10. They also absorbed the Rocky movies and @flatbible. They attended the BMX Hall of Fame induction of Kevin Jones, TJ Lavin, Steve Van Doren, and Tara Llanes. They also visited Mat Hoffman at his home spot. They continue to watch the sun rise every morning at The TerraDome Sports Science Research Centre.

It happen in a state of hyper-Stoke
On the night of his Coronation, Joe was visited by what appeared to be an alien entity which spoke to him. What it said caused a lasting change of perspective. FrogBarz came to Earth to find, and refine, vessels for The Stoke. This requires faith and unrelenting self-directed betterment in all aspects of a principled life. Joe made a deal inspired by Steve Harvey's deal with God: "FrogBarz, I'll do what you say and in return I'll tell people about you."
